What is your favorite part about the publishing process?
My favorite part is getting an author’s revisions back after I have sent my notes and comments. The only thing I can expect for sure is that they will have resolved each issue in any way except the way I thought! It is so fun to see an author’s creativity in action.
What are you most looking forward to at the cruise / writing retreat on Dec. 13th?
I don’t know: I’ve never been on a cruise before!
What industry trends are you most excited about?
Two things: the emergence and development of the New Adult audience, and the increasing move in the Fantasy genre away from the traditional, Tolkien-based worlds and races.
Most importantly – are you more of a beach bum or a shore excursion / adventurer?
Probably more of a shore excursion/adventurer.
